Young Laois Trad Groups light up Siansa Gael Linn

Not one but two young Trad groups from Laois made it to the final of Siansa Gael Linn 2017 in the National Concert Hall earlier this month. Lonrach, which its talented members from Borris-in-Ossory, Portarlington and Ballaghmore, joined another local group Fiúntas, which boasts musicians from Abbeyleix, The Swan and Camross, in the ‘last eight’ of Siansa. Fiúntas also made it through to the final in 2016.
