Woodenbridge Community Alert Blueway Walk News

Woodenbridge Community Alert extend a huge thanks to all who supported their recent Blueway fundraising walk supporting the CCTV Project. This walk was led RTE Ear to the Ground Presenter Helen Carroll with credit to all of the following Tara and the catering team at Newtown Mill, All stewards along with car parking at Dooley’s field, Registration and ticket sellers, Sound equipment Tommy Ferns, An Garda, Local Press, Andrew Bailey Woodcraft, All Landowners,The many sponsors which include Supervalu Rathdowney,  Supermac’s Ballacolla,  Glanbia Ballacolla, O’Malley’s, The Brewery, Kane’s Service Station together with many local individual raffle sponsors. The following were among the prize winners Nora Browne, Pat Kirwan, ML Browne, Jack Dollard, Catherine Fitzpatrick, John Browne, Larry Dunne, Soirse Galvin, Peter Browne and Breda Doran. The days event netted a total of 1,450 euro.
