Wonderful weekend in store as Headen’s The Tower Inn hosts another charity fundraiser

Timahoe will be buzzing with packed weekend at Headen’s The Tower Inn

Headen’s Tower Inn, Timahoe is delighted to have received acknowledgement from Pieta House regarding a recent Fundraising event.

Their sponsorship wall of cheques continues to grow!!!! 

This weekend they will try and raise €1000 for Lyme disease Awareness. Please come along and support if you can, remember you can buy bands and run your 5k in your own time over the weekend…!! Music on Sunday Evening by Scotty B to finish off the event!!

1000k Lyme awareness challenge.

The Tower Inn is asking for your support once again!

Based on a local 5k loop surrounding the village of Timahoe the challenge is to cover a “minimum” of 1000k as a group,

So that means young and old getting on their feet to complete a minimum of 5k each.

For each km they hope to raise €1,

€5 wristbands are available now in the bar or can be purchased on the day, and if you feel you can go again will be happy to supplyg a second, third or fourth wristband.

There might even be a prize for the person with the most wristbands at the end of the day!

All funds raised will go towards valuable treatments for people suffering from Lymes and more importantly raising awareness for a disease that surrounds us all every day.

Will meet up from 6.00pm Saturday evening the 27th outside the Tower Inn and aim to kick off @ 6.30!!!!

ARE YOU UP FOR THE 1000K CHALLENGE!! Anyone wishing to do the run in their own time can purchase a band from the bar or just DM us here and we will hold one for you..
