‘Winning the Breaking Ball’ Workshop
Laois Coaching and Games presents a workshop on “Winning the Breaking Ball”. This is a very exciting workshop and one not to be missed. Could clubs please forwards this to all their coaches. Please note change of venue to Rathdowney.

Date: Saturday the 6th of February
Time: 10am – 1pm
Sean Kelly, Kilkenny Minor Hurling Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach, takes a session on ‘Winning the Breaking Ball’. The aim of the course is to provide coaches with ideas that will improve winning the breaking ball through games, video clips and set plays. This will be a very interactive session between coach and tutor.
Laois GAA courses & workshops
Implement advanced drill formations with the emphasis on the half back/ half forwards advantageous positioning in puck out scenarios.
Implement running drills in which the type of timed runs implemented by the backs/forwards to gain possession of the breaking ball are illustrated from these advantageous positions.
Highlight correct body positioning that should be implemented to keep hold of the breaking ball
Cost of the course is €10. Bookings will be made on a first-come-first-served basis.
Light Refreshments will be served afterwards.
