Weekend Weather Update
Weather Update courtesy of Carlow Weather
Some heavy showers off the South coast at present will move up across the country, heaviest near South coast with risk of thundery downpours. A cloudy start tomorrow but mainly dry with sunny spells developing in strong Southerly breeze.
Warm and calmer Friday and Saturday with sunny spells and odd passing shower in West and North, getting up to 20c!
Turning much colder suddenly for Sunday with top temperature half that of Saturday, struggling to get above 10c.
We could see a widespread frost Monday night with temps below -2c after a high of just 6c to 10c on Monday ? so gardeners be aware! Also a risk of some late snow on the Highlands in Scotland.
If it is rainfall you are looking for, then the next 7 days won’t deliver much I’m afraid.
