Our weekend weather is set to be reasonable with many areas enjoying some good spells of Autumn sunshine, with just scattered showers feeding in from the west. It will however feel pretty cool for the time of year with a fresh northwesterly wind at times, especially in Atlantic coastal areas.

The best weather for the coming weekend will be located in the east and southeast of the country where there will be some good spells of sunshine. Temperatures will be a degree or so below normal for the time of year, with highs of between 15-18 degrees Celsius likely.
Next week at present looks rather mixed, though overall there will be some good dry spells with some sunshine likely at times, especially across the south and southeast initially, and later more countrywide. Atlantic coastal areas of the west and northwest will remain more overcast and cloudy with a risk of some drizzle.
Monday looks pretty overcast countrywide with some rain, light in nature. Tuesday looks overcast pretty much countrywide with some drizzle in the west and northwest, drier to the east and southeast. Feeling a little more humid on Tuesday with winds switch in southwesterly briefly.
Wednesday is bright fresh day with sunny spells and scattered showers, most frequent in west Ulster and Connacht. Thursday is a similar day with sunny spells and showers countrywide though the showers will be less frequent.
Friday looks set to be overcast at present as a cold front sinks southeastwards across the country. With the following weekend set to be mostly dry and bright with settled weather, based upon the latest weather models.
