LOCALISED FLOODING WARNING

Isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop across the eastern half of Leinster through Monday afternoon, before gradually spreading to affect the North Midlands and Ulster through the evening. Some of the storms will be locally intense with some localised flooding or hail possible.

As is always the case with thunderstorms they will be rather hit an miss in nature and not all areas will experience thunderstorms even in the aforementioned regions. However where they do occur they will strong with a up to 40 mm of rain likely falling in a rather short period of time.

I will have further details on the risk of thunderstorms later this evening and again tomorrow morning.
