Owing to heavy rainfall black ice will be widespread as temperatures drop to between -2c and +2c. Please travel with extra care.

The N80 Carlow/ Stradbally is now impassable at Milltown (near Simmons Mill) due to flooding. Extra care is also needed in the townland of Stanney on the N80 due to flooding.
The Carlow/ Abbeyleix Rd (R430) is impassable at Tolerton due to flooding.
