Congratulations to Anna O Connell from the Heath NS who has qualified for the Final of Doodle4Google.
Doodle4Google is a nationwide competition that has been running for 9 years. Anna’s picture has been selected as one of 15 for her age group and she is now in with the chance of winning a €10,000 technology grant for her school.
Entering schools from across the country were asked to design a doodle around the Google logo and this year’s theme was ‘If I could create anything it would be’…..
Vote for Anna’s Doodle!
Anna created a design titled ‘My peaceful space’ where she described a place that she could escape to by taking 3 deep breaths where everything is calm and colourful. Her picture was very much influenced by partaking in mindfulness and meditation which she practices daily in her school.
To be in with a chance of winning it is now down to the public to vote and the Heath NS would love if their community and county would get behind them by voting and sharing.
We should all be very proud of this young 9-year-old girl whose artistic talents is representing our town and county at a national level so please show your support by voting as often as you can and sharing as much as possible.
