Unsung Heroes of Laois

Hi

I’d like to nominate Colette Meleady as an unsung hero. She is a CE scheme worker that facilitates a Learn English class via Laois Partnership.

The classes are called  – Failte Isteach in conjunction with Third Age – it offers classes to non-nationals, and is such a credit to this community. She has helped numerous people and continues to go above and beyond her remit.  The classes are run 3-2 times a week at the Respond centre down Millcourt behind the old Dunnes Stores.

Some of these people take these classes to get along in our community, all the tutors are volunteers and they all take time out of their days to help their fellow man.  I think it’s a wonderful group and would like them all mentioned.
