Train to Airport Poll

The head of Irish Rail has revealed plans to bring trains directly to Dublin Airport for the first time.
Chief Executive, David Franks, has told the Irish Independent he wants to lay new tracks for intercity trains from Cork, Galway and Belfast.

It is estimated the upgrade would cost around €300m and could be built in less than five years.
Once finished it would be capable of carrying three million airport passengers each year, but the idea is still waiting for Government approval. (Text courtesy of www.breakingnews.ie)
