This Week’s Weather

UNSETTLED WEEK OF WEATHER.

While the Midlands has thankfully avoided the torrential rain and snow which has brought widespread disruption across the counties of Cork in Kerry, heavy rain is expected to become widespread across the region through today (Monday) and again on Tuesday. The rain at times will be heavy and accompanied by fresh Easterly breezes. There will be some sunny spells from time to time also especially through tomorrow morning, and again Tuesday evening.

Throughout Wednesday and Thursday showery conditions are expected with some heavy and indeed thundery downpours likely from time to time, especially across Western areas of the Midlands. The good news is that conditions look to improve throughout Friday and Saturday with some decent sunny spells likely.
