This week’s weather

This week’s weather

Today Tuesday will be a reasonable day across the region with just isolated showers. These showers will be most frequent across western and northern areas of the region. Many areas will see some pleasant sunny spells. Highs will range between 5 and 8 degrees Celsius.

Wednesday will be a very unsettled day across the Midlands with all areas seeing heavy rain and some strong winds, gusting as high as 80 kph in some areas. Temperatures will be mild however and will range between 9 and 12 degrees Celsius.

Laois weather on this Bank Holiday Weekend

This week’s weather in Laois

Thursday at present looks like being a reasonable day as Ireland will lie in between two weather systems. Most areas will see some sunny spells but also some passing showers, again most likely in the north and west. Highs will range between 7 and 10 degrees Celsius.

Friday will be another breezy day across the Midlands with rain likely from time to time. Feeling very mild however with highs between 10 and 13 degrees possible in all areas.

The weekend will continue unsettled in many areas with blustery west to north west winds and some heavy showers likely in many areas on Saturday. Sunday looks like being a reasonably dry day. Temperatures will however drop back to more normal values for the time of year. I will keep you updated as always as the week progresses. Kindest regards, Cathal.
