This week’s weather
This week’s weather
EXTENDED OUTLOOK: TURNING UNSETTLED:
Tomorrow Tuesday will begin dry and bright in all areas of the Midlands as an area of high pressure continues to keep Atlantic weather systems at bay. Cloud will increase across the region during the afternoon however rainfall wont be an issue. Temperatures will be higher than of late and will range between 5 and 8 degrees Celsius.
Wednesday, New Years Eve, will be an unsettled day across the region with all areas seeing some spells of heavy rain from time to time and fresh south westerly breezes. Highs will range between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius. Those of you with plans on New Year’s Night should bring some form of umbrella or water proof jackets.
New Year’s Day will be another unsettled day across the Midlands with all areas again expecting to see some spells of heavy rain. Temperatures will be above average and will range between 8 and 11 degrees Celsius. There is the risk of some gale force winds through Thursday night from a developing area of low pressure, however this remains only a risk at present and will need further monitoring.
Friday looks like being a much clearer day across the Midlands, it does look as though temperatures will be much cooler than the mid-week period with temperatures returning to more normal values of between 5 and 7 degrees Celsius. Saturday at present looks like being unsettled with an Atlantic weather system pushing in from the west. Sunday at present looks like being a decent day across the region. I will update you as the week progresses as its remains difficult to predict beyond five days when dealing with an unsettled westerly flow from the Atlantic.
