It is open to all vintage, veteran and classic cars, motorcycles and commercials registered prior to 1984.

Day 1- Friday 29th May 2015

Civic Reception in the County Hall, Portlaoise at 7.30pm with finger buffet.

Day 2- Saturday 30th  May 2015

Laois Heritage Run

An information pack will be provided on the morning of this event and a run covering covering around 80 to 100 miles of the Laois Heritage Trail takes place on this day. Assembly at Treacy’s, The Heath, Portlaoise at 10.00am and the run will commence no later than 11.00am. We will also be taking part in the Rose of Tralee Parade with an opportunity for lunch, leaving  the late afternoon free  for participants to explore the area by themselves or relax at their chosen accommodation.

On this night there is an optional Gala Dinner Dance held in The Gandon Inn consisting of a three course meal with tea/coffee at a cost of €25 per person payable directly to the organisers or prebooked on this site along with the entry. The dress code for the meal is smart casual and the atmosphere is relaxed and informal allowing participants an opportunity to mingle further.

Day 3- Sunday 31st May 2015

Gordon Bennett Route

This day will involve cars assembling at Treacy’s, The Heath, Portlaoise and giving the opportunity to drive the original Gordon Bennett route. The run is 104 miles with an optional run of 74 miles and will start at intervals between 10.30am and 11.00pm. There will be a number of stops and refreshment opportunities en route and the run is completed at The Gandon Inn at approximately 5.00pm, where the presentation of plaques will take place along with a complimentary meal for the driver (with passengers paying €10 per person.)

Day 4- Monday 1st  June 2015

Participants will have the opportunity to take part in The Gandon Inn Leisure Run beginning at Treacy’s of The Heath at 11am and returning back to Treacy’s for a farewell complimentary barbeque in the afternoon. This route is normally between 60 to 80 miles with a rest stop.
