A good start for Laois Cricket club at the Abbey, Stradbally with their First team played Mullingar.

Mullingar put up a good fight batting first, but struggled to cope with the quality of Laois’s bowling. Captain Usama Raees led from the front, with 4 wickets and Kamram Sabrie also bowled well with 3.

A good natured and well attended match with everyone excited to be back, which was concluded by Paul Croke and Armand Smit with the bat for Laois, knocking off most of the runs together, for a good first win of the season.
