It takes a lot of preparation for a show how do you get into character?

• Well as the dame you have to incision and take on a persona with feminine qualities and characteristics! I find I am most in character when I put on my makeup and costume at the 15 minute call! The shoes can be a killer for the first show or two but after that it’s second nature!

What can people expect from Peter Pan after the huge success of Cinderella?

• I don’t think anyone expected Cinderella to be such a smash hit that it was, it was extraordinary! It was due to such a talented and extremely hard working cast who had the most extraordinary creativity!
  

  Meet Peter Pan this summer!

How many costume changes have you in the show?

• I have 9 costume changes in this years production! The show may not be until July but my costumes have been sorted since just before Christmas!  My quickest change last year was 21 second to change my shoes, gloves, wig and dress! All of which couldn’t be done without my fabulous dresser Sheila Luterrel!

There is such an amazing cast for Peter Pan you must be so excited to work along side a host of local talent?

• I am so excited about this years show because I know the sheer talent that this years cast will bring to the table to ensure it will be such an astounding hit again this year full of hilarious laughs!

Is it difficult being the producer, director and being in Peter Pan?

• Like anything I suppose it is difficult trying to juggle a lot but you have to ensure that you are prepared and have scheduled everything well in advance! That is the key factor to ensure a smooth running show aswell as having such a wonderful production team at you’re side!

Peter Pan the summer panto has gone on sale today to a high volume of ticket sales this morning!

The classic tale begins in the Nursery of the Darling Children, on a night like any other. A free-spirited and mischievous young boy who can fly and never grows up, Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood having adventures on the mythical island of Neverland as the leader of the Lost Boys, interacting with a host of panto character favourites and occasionally ordinary children from the world …

Full of song, dance and laughter galore, featuring a talented cast of well known local faces and featuring the children of the highly sought after Panto Summer Camp, following the massive success of last years ‘Cinderella’ this on-stage spectacle promises a lavish production for all to enjoy!

The production team includes Richard Mansworth , Jayne Louise Kelly, Jay Ritchie, Zeta O Reilly , Katelyn Dempsey and Sandra Breen!

Friday 26th – 7.30pm, Saturday 27th – 2pm and 7:30pm & Sunday 28th – 2pm and 7:30 pm  €15/€12
