⚠️STORM FRANCIS OFFICIALLY NAMED
⚠️DAMAGING WINDS LIKELY ACROSS PARTS OF MUNSTER & SOUTH LEINSTER
⚠️FLOODING RISK DUE TO HEAVY RAIN
Storm Francis has officially been named and is now the second named Atlantic storm to affect the country inside the past two weeks. Further damaging winds of between 110-120 km/h are likely in Munster and South Leinster, with rainfall totals of up to 30-50 mm likely leading to river flooding and localised flooding in places.
The storm will affect the country between 23:00 tonight and 14:00 tomorrow.
