‘Soccer Sisters’ in Portarlington
Soccer sisters, which is girls-only soccer training, was introduced to Arlington AFC by the FAI last winter. We are delighted it has been established in the club and the great news is that the girls keep returning for training, a little bit of cold, wind and muck won’t put this crew off.
Training is every Tuesday from 5-6 and it can cater for a few more players, so if you have a daughter aged between 7 & 12 who would be interested pop a text to Nichole at 0860485820 stating Arlington, your child’s name and date of birth. Training is currently free of charge as it is sponsored by the FAI.
In conjunction with this the FAI are hosting a two-day ‘Soccer Sisters’ camp at Arlington over the Easter, the cost is €20 and includes a free soccer top. Places are limited, so book on link here ASAP. Our pitch is on the Lea Road in Laois as you drive from Portarlington to Monasterevin, and is called Castle Park.
