STAR SEARCH FOR FEATURE FILM

Casting Director Amy Rowan is on the hunt to find 2 young actors to take the lead roles in ‘Kissing Candice’ a feature film shooting in Ireland later this summer. The film will be directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Aoife McArdle who has made her mark with stylish music videos for U2, James Vincent McMorrow and Jon Hopkins. Amy has previously undertaken similar talent searches for TV and film projects such as ‘My Name Is Emily’ with Evanna Lynch “Moone Boy” with Chris O’Dowd, “Stella Days” with Martin Sheen and Lenny Abrahamson’s “Garage”.

She is looking for girls aged between 16 and 25. And a boy aged between 16 and 25 from a mixed-race or ethnic background. Applications should include a recent photograph (head and shoulders) and a CV/cover letter listing any acting experience or training (but no experience is necessary).

‘Kissing Candice is being produced by Venom Films who have previously produced Ken Wardrop’s multi-award winning ‘His and Hers’ and ‘Sanctuary’ starring Anne-Marie Duff.
