Ratheniska Foróige Club needs volunteers!
Ratheniska Foróige Club has been operating for over 50 years. They are an enthusiastic group of young people who have achieved so much over the past 50 years. Young people have taking part in Camino-Croagh Patrick Trek, participated in the Aldi Junior Baking Competition, participated in Foróiges Got Talent and continuously engaged in various Foróige programmes. The young people are actively involved in their community having completed projects in the past which includes hosting discos for their community and organising a Christmas Party for children party for their community.
This fantastic group of young people have been supported in their Foróige journey by a team of volunteers who give up their time to ensure the young people can be empowered to create their own safe space to hang out and engage in their community. Without volunteers 35 young people of Ratheniska would feel a gap and have their Foróige Journey cut short. After 50 years of being in the community Ratheniska Foróige are currently asking for any adult who has time to volunteer to help them continue their Foróige journey. By giving 4 hours of your time per month you can help Ratheniska Foróige in keeping something fantastic alive.
