Raheen Vintage Club Officially Launches 2027 IVETA National Rally

Corbally, Abbeyleix will see Raheen Vintage Club host 2027 IVETA National Rally

Raheen Vintage Club is delighted to officially announce that it will host the IVETA National Rally 2027, taking place on Sunday, 11th July 2027, at Corbally, Abbeyleix, Co. Laois.

The National Rally was officially launched at the National Ploughing Championships, marking the beginning of what promises to be an exciting year ahead for Raheen Vintage Club and the wider vintage community.

Hosting the IVETA National Rally is a tremendous honour for the club and represents another major milestone in its history. The event will bring together vintage enthusiasts from across Ireland for a celebration of Ireland’s rich motoring, agricultural and mechanical heritage.

Raheen Vintage Club was established in 2009 and has grown considerably over the years, bringing together people with a shared interest in vintage tractors, cars, machinery and the preservation of Ireland’s rural and motoring heritage.

Since 2019, the club has hosted its annual vintage rally at Corbally, Abbeyleix, Co. Laois, with the generous support of landowners John Talbot and family. The rally has continued to grow and develop thanks to the dedication of the club’s committee and members, together with the tremendous support received from families, friends, volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors and the local community.

Following a very successful 2026 show, the club is now looking forward to building on that success as preparations begin for the IVETA National Rally in 2027.

Raheen Vintage Club Chairman Chris Goode said the opportunity to host the National Rally is a proud moment for everyone associated with the club:

“We are absolutely delighted and honoured to be hosting the IVETA National Rally in 2027. It is a fantastic opportunity for Raheen Vintage Club and for the local area.

“Everything our club has achieved has been built on people coming together. We have a very strong committee and a fantastic group of club members, but we also depend hugely on our families, friends, volunteers and the wider local community.

“After the success of our 2026 show, we are very excited about what lies ahead. There is a lot of work to be done between now and July, but everyone is looking forward to making the 2027 National Rally an event we can all be proud of.”

IVETA Chairperson Niamh Harty, who spoke at the official launch, congratulated Raheen Vintage Club on being selected to host the IVETA National Rally 2027 and wished the club every success with the preparations ahead.

Raheen Vintage Club would like to sincerely thank Niamh and the entire IVETA Board of Directors for their support and encouragement, particularly in the lead-up to the official launch. The club looks forward to working closely with IVETA over the coming months as preparations for the National Rally continue.

Behind the event is a dedicated club team, including Chairman Chris Goode, Treasurer Brigid O’Connor, Secretaries Alanna McGowan and Linda Byrne, PRO Amy Quinn, Club President John Galvin, together with the wider committee and club membership.

While planning is still at an early stage, the IVETA National Rally 2027 will showcase the very best of the vintage movement, with further details on exhibits, attractions, entertainment and the programme for the day to be announced in early 2027.
