Garda Appeal
Gardai are appealing to the public of Portlaoise to check their vehicles and remove any items from same. There has been a marked increase in thefts from vehicles recently. Items stolen include loose change, jackets, chequebooks, sunglasses, mobile phones, laptops and tools. If these are visible to you looking in the window then they are visible to the criminals and leaving such items in the vehicle is inviting opportunistic criminals into your area. LET’S WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE PORTLAOISE CRIME FREE.

Secure your valuables!

PATH Portlaoise Action to Homelessness News
We recently needed new tyres on the van to pass our DOE, so we contacted Derreen Tyres as they have a mobile unit and do call outs. Derreen Tyres is run and owned by Derek Young and when he realised who the tyres were for Derek kindly donated the tyres to us as his way of helping out the homeless. Massive thanks to Derek and continued success from us all here. Why not give Derreen Tyres a call, whether it’s an emergency call out or a home new tyre fit we’d highly recommend this great tyre service.
