Portlaoise’s latest rugby star

Portlaoise RFC and Leinster Rugby starlet Eimear Corri is about to gain international honours in recognition of the fantastic year she had had on the pitch. The Laois lady has been selected to be a key component of Ireland’s underage Rugby 7’s squad at the 2014 Sainsbury’s School Games to be held in Manchester this September.

The Scoil Chríost Rí, Portlaoise RFC and Leinster player will to play for Ireland in the 2014 Sainsbury’s Schools Games taking place in Manchester from the 4th September 2014 to 7th September 2014. She is part of a team of 12 players selected on the weekend after an intensive two-day training session at DCU Sports ground in Ballymun.
