Portlaoise shines at Feile

Portlaoise Shield Semi- Finalists at Feile Peil na Nog 2015!!

Congratulations to Portlaoise U-14 ladies football who became Shield Semi-Finalists at Feile Peil na Nog last weekend. They lost to Horeswood, Wexford on Friday evening and drew with Aherlow from Tipperary also on the Friday evening. 

 

On Saturday the girls had two great wins, firstly against their host team Taghmon/Camross, Wexford, and then travelled to Ferns to play Shelmaliers also from Wexford..

Sunday brought them to the Wexford Centre of Excellence where they took on  Naomh Ciaran of Offaly in their Semi-Final clash. A great crowd was there to support the girls including our own Portlaoise U-13 boys.

The management team of Ivan, George, Olga and Teresa would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped out in any way with sponsorship, collections and donations for the girls.

An excellent time was had by all.
