Portlaoise College wins Eco Award

Congratulations to all those who participated in www.ecounesco.ie awards today. It must have been a really tough job judging entries from an inspirational group of students from numerous schools across the country.

Portlaoise College won the award in senior section for their biodegradable plastic project. Congratulations to Kathrina’s students – visit www.portlaoisecollege.ie for photos.

Well done all! Another two schools to watch out for in the future are Scoil Seosamh Naomtha, Navan (Solar Project) and Athlone Community College (Peatland Ecology). Well done to all the schools, students and teachers who took part this year.
