Community Games

A public meeting will take place to decide if the Community Games will continue in Portarlington in 2016 on Wednesday March 2 at 8.15pm in Portarlington Community Centre (Music Room). Parents of children aged from 6 to 15 are encouraged to attend.

Easter Camp

Multi activity Easter Camp takes place in the sports hall Colaiste Iosagain from Monday March 21 to Thursday March 24. Boys and girls aged between 5 and 10 years are welcome. Great way to entertain the kids during their Easter break. Phone 087- 2907762 for more information.

St. Conleths

St. Conleths Ladies Football Club will be holding their Registration Day on Saturday March 5 in O’Dempsey’s from 10 am to 12 pm. This will be the occasion for all players to register for the 2016 season, from under 8s up to adult.

There will be refreshments available on the day and a chance for players to have a kick-around. All are welcome; particularly any new players who would like to try out a new sport and make new friends. We are in the last few days for purchase of Laois All County Draw tickets from our Treasurer John Lawlor on  087-2934939 or any Club Officcer We would ask that you make every effort to support our club during this annual fundraising drive. Purchase of the ticket enters you into 4 draws in which there is a jackpot of €10,000 for each one and a range of cash prizes down to €500. The first draw is in March. Individuals or groups of people can buy a ticket. Thank you for your support.

Our Annual poker Classic will take place on Good Friday March 25 in the GAA Centre Portarlington at 8pm sharp. Entry fee €25 which includes light refreshments with Buy In’s €5 and 1 Top up €10. Tickets available from Club Treasurer John Lawlor at 087- 2934939 or by ringing 086-2712121.
