FUNDRAISING EVENT
There will be a clothing recycling drive in aid of The Lisa Bracken Foundation on Saturday August 15. Please drop all items between 10am—1pm at the green in Arlington Estate, Portarlington, Co. Laois. Please donate all your clean unwanted clothes, bed linen, towels, curtains, shoes, bags, belts, soft toys. Wearable clothes will be recycled & reused & other items will be recycled for items such as industrial wipes or soundproofing. Laptops must be intact with lead, also mobile phones are accepted, but please keep them separate. No household Bric a Brac. If you cannot make it on the day please contact Patrick at 085-1095423 before August 8.
MABS
Laois MABS Drop in Service on Friday July 31 from 9.30am – 1pm in Portarlington Community Centre – NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY. This service will run on the last Friday of each month. For further information please ring 0761 072620.
St. Conleth’s
O’Dempsey’s/St. Conleth’s Skills Week takes place from Tuesday August 4 to Friday August 7 in O’Dempsey’s GAA from 9.45am to 2pm each day. Registration takes place from 9.15am on August 4. Cost- €25 per child and €5 per extra child in the family there after. Girls and boys welcome. Fully supervised camp with qualified instructors.
