Getting the Smātch & the Craic
If you want success you need the Smácht (the ancient Irish word for discipline) was the message of the first of two inspirational speeches at Portarlington Speakers on September 22. That was followed by a very practical approach on how to find happiness. Noreen Diver had already provided the Craic by turning the Purgatory of the daily commute from Portarlington to Dublin into great humour. Another presentation in the series of how to make great speeches illustrated how to get your point across.

Club President Carmel Moore then put everyone through the Smácht and Craic of fun impromptu speaking aka table topics. Everyone had their say and everyone enjoyed the craic. So if you want success get the Smácht and the Craic at Portarlington Speakers at the Anvil Inn Portarlington. Next meetings on Tuesdays October 6 & 20 at 7.45pm.
