People First Credit Union is delighted to announce the second year of the ‘Community Champions Award,’ a prestigious €10,000 award aimed at recognising and supporting the extraordinary efforts of local volunteer groups within our common bond area. Carol Murphy, Marketing Manager for People First Credit Union, highlighted the importance of volunteerism “Our credit union is powered by the spirit of volunteerism, It is with great pride that we continue the ‘Community Champions Award’ for a second year, building on the success of last year’s winner, Portlaoise Tidy Towns, and their remarkable biodiversity project.“
