DURROW TIDY TOWNS AGM: Durrow Tidy Towns invite everyone to attend their AGM which will take place in Durrow Library at 8pm on Tuesday November 12th. We would really appreciate if people could set aside just one hour on the night to come along and see what’s involved and express their opinions. Over the years the focus of the Tidy Town Competition has evolved and today it is as much about biodiversity and sustainability as it is about keeping your town clean. This in mind we know there are many out there that could get involved and make a real difference to the town while improving our overall marks. We really need new faces and new ideas. We ask that local business people, other local organisations, residents of the town and surrounds make an effort to come out on the night and show your support for Durrow and the small but enthusiastic committee – there is no obligation to join the committee but you may be able to help in some small way to lessen the load of others while enhancing the town we live in. See you there!
