NEW PLATFORM FOR YOUTH ARTS IN LAOIS

Are you interested in Art, Music, Drama, Comedy, Photography, Poetry?
Are you in a Group or Band, or a Solo performer?
Want to perform to a live audience? Want to display visual art?
Looking for somewhere to go for entertainment and fun?
Youth Work Ireland Laois are hosting a monthly Arts Platform which gives young people the opportunity to perform to a live audience with the support of a stage manager and sound technician and performance mentors, if required.
A voluntary committee have formed to organise a monthly Youth Arts event in Laois.
We recognise that there is a need for a place, time and space for young people to listen to and perform live music, or take part in a musical, dramatic, artistic performance or merely come along to watch and hang out with friends in a safe, youth friendly, alcohol free environment.
NEW PLATFORM FOR YOUTH ARTS IN LAOIS
Our friendly performance space is well equipped with sound & light. It is welcoming and encouraging and we are on hand to guide you through your performance needs.
Our first performance night takes place at Youth Work Ireland Laois (JFL House, Portlaoise), on Friday 30th June 2017 at 7pm.

If you are under 18, a parent/guardian must come along to Youth Work Ireland Laois offices to complete a consent form.
Entry at the door is €2
Sound check for performers is at 6.30pm sharp.
Doors open at 7pm.
