Mountmellick AC News

Mountmellick Athletic Club wants to say well done to all the juvenile Athletes who travelled to Athlone to compete at the first weekend of the Leinster indoor Track & Field Championships.
No medals or titles were won on this occasion but we know the hard grafting our young athletes are putting in at their training sessions and with most of them studying in examination year in school, they still all put in excellent performances in their respective disciplines. It’s very early in the Track and Field season and so they have still plenty of time to work on and fine tuned their specific track and Field Events. They and other club athletes will continue to compete over the coming weekends at Leinster level.

So well done lads and girls and their parents and coaches who got them there. Mountmellick Athletic Club are very very proud of you and look forward to a good year ahead.
