MOUNTMELLICK HERITAGE SOCIETY:
Mountmellick Heritage Society will exhibit ‘Mountmellick Memories’ at the Gallery in Mountmellick Library for the month of August.This exhibition will bring together photographs, artifacts and documents highlighting life in the town since the 1800s. The exhibition will be available for viewing during library opening hours until Thursday 31stAugust. All are welcome to attend.
SUMMER STARS AT YOUR LIBRARY:
You can still register your children for the summer reading challenge. It’s free and your children will get rewards for reading books over the summer. Children who read over the summer months maintain their reading levels and return to school well able for the new school year. Drop into your local library!
JUNIOR CHESS CLUB:

FREE DOG SAFETY WORKSHOP:
Mountmellick Library are delighted to welcome back Paul and his dog magic on Thursday 24th August at 11 a.m. for a free dog safety workshop for adults and children. Ring 0578644572 to book a place.
ADULT CHESS CLUB: Mountmellick Library will be setting up an adult chess club starting in September. If you are interested in joining please ring 0578644572 and let us know!
KEEP CALM AND COLOUR IN: The adult colouring group will continue to meet over the summer on Thursday mornings from 10.30 onwards in Mountmellick Library! Drop in do some colouring and have a cup of tea and coffee and a chat! All are welcome.
