The Gallery at Mountmellick Library is delighted to host “Painting for Pleasure”, an exhibition of paintings. These paintings have been created by Tom Joyce and his students-Catherine Lalor, Kate Forrestal, Amy Slevin and Storm Powell. This is the students’ first exhibition and it will run for the month of December.
All are welcome to come view this stunning collection.
The Christmas Brochure for Mountmellick Library is out! Christmas Story times at 3pm and Parent and child Christmas crafts from 2-4pm on Friday 9th and 16thDecember.
Free Christmas Film!We will be showing either Elf or Santa Clause 3-the Escape Clause! Vote by phone, Facebook or in person for which one you would like to see on Tuesday 20th December!
We will also be doing a very special Christmas tree this year. Wish your library would have a special book in stock or an event you would like to see-write your library wish down on one of the paper decorations, hang it on our Christmas wishing tree and throughout 2017 we will try and grant your library wish!

Keep calm and colour in! The Adult Colouring Group meet in Mountmellick Library every Thursday morning at 10.30 a.m. All are welcome to drop in!
