Parent and Child Easter Craft table will be on in Mountmellick Library on the mornings of Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th April. Feel free to drop in and make some beautiful crafts!

Time to start thinking of a Easter camp for your kids!
Mountmellick Library is hoping to hold an informal evening of poetry readings on Tuesday April 25th at 7.00pm. We are looking for volunteers to read selected poems and anyone who would like to read some of their own work or a poem of their choosing on the theme of poetry connects. Would you like to introduce your baby or young child to books and the love of reading? Baby Book Club starting in Mountmellick Library on Tuesday 2nd May from 11am – 12 for babies from 0 – 18 months and their parents and siblings. Further dates to be decided! Local artist, Tom Joyce’s exhibition, “The Beauty of Water” will be open to the public in Mountmellick Gallery from Tuesday 4th April till Thursday 27th April. Since 1981, Tom has lived in the Slieve Bloom Mountains and his work is heavily influenced by his environment. Tom will host a coffee morning on Thursday 6th April from 10.30 – 11.30 in the library. All are welcome.
On Saturday 8th April Tom Joyce will host an Art Demonstration in Landscape Painting Techniques from 11am to 1pm-booking is essential for this as places will be limited. Call 0578644572 or call into Mountmellick Library.
