The Gallery at Mountmellick Library is delighted to host an exhibition of photography by Derek Griffin. All are welcome to come view this stunning collection until Wednesday 30th November.
All through the autumn, contestants have been battling the length and breadth of the country, passionately defending or attacking the idea of ‘The EU: United in Diversity’ in the Europe Direct National Soapbox Competition. 15 finalists competed in the National Final, which took place
at the National Concert Hall on Tuesday, the 8th of November. Siobhan Fitzgerald from Galway, representing the Midlands region won the adult section and in the under 18 category highly commended Anna Delaney was highly commended, also representing the Midlands region. Congratulations to both for this great achievement!
Congratulations to the winners of our Roald Dahl book review competition- Alan Hennessy, Sean Dunne, Jamie Drumm , Robyn McLoughlin and Enda Feighery. The winners were presented with their prizes on last Friday in Mountmellick Library. Well done to everyone who took part!
