Change is coming! Laois Libraries are working with other libraries across the country to use a shared computer system and create one joint library catalogue. You won’t need a new library card but we do ask that you bring your library card with you each time you visit the library-
this will help you get the most out of the new system quickly! For further details ask at the desk!
The Gallery at Mountmellick Library is delighted to host “Duality”, a collection of artwork created by the artists attending Art Classes with Caroline Keane. The group show represents inspirations from nature and the everyday, to the illustration of opposing words. The show may present the same image more than once, by different artists, but each time it is expressed differently in its own unique fashion, from its choice of medium and colours to the strokes of the brush. The exhibition runs until Friday March 3rdand all are welcome.
Free internet for 15 minutes between 10 a.m. and 11a.m. every morning from Tuesday to Saturday in Mountmellick Library! Yes it’s free! Drop in during happy hour-it’s free to join up!
