‘Looking Back Looking Forward’ Exhibition

All are invited to the launch of “Looking Back, Looking Forward” a major new ceramic sculpture created by students and teachers from all nine secondary schools in Laois, to commemorate the centenary of the 1916 Rising.

The launch is at 7pm on Thursday 7th April at Laois Education Centre Portlaoise.

Laois 1916 Commemoration

This was one of the major projects of the Laois Commemorations Committee for the Centenary of 1916 and the Laois 1916 committee are proud to have worked with Laois Education Centre and all of the schools to create a truly lasting legacy of the year.
