Local TD welcomes move to increase parking at Ballybrophy
Local Sinn Fein TD Brian Stanley said that “The submission of a planning application to Laois County Council for new car parking facilities at Ballybrophy is a welcome decision.
At present there is a chronic shortage of spaces, with commuters having to park on the roadside. The station has become busier in recent years as more people use it for commuting to work. The upgrade of these facilities is badly needed. What is also required in the improvements is the direct service to Limerick with a new timetable That is why I raised it this week in the Dáil.
