Local Marketing Agency up for National Award
Local firm ‘The Business Fairy Digital Marketing Agency’ has been shortlisted for the national Digital Content Awards. The Laois based tech company has been shortlisted in 2 categories, ‘The Best Content Marketing Awards – Specialist’ and the ‘Most Effective Use of Illustration’. The nominations for both awards are for their work with Tipperary Rape Crisis Centre. The firm’s entire team worked on a part pro-bono basis for the charity. ‘When TRCC came to us for help, the stories were harrowing and like all charities, the budget was tight’ said founder Aisling Hurley. ‘We brought it to the team and every single one of them agreed that TRCC is a fabulous charity. Over several months, we undertook market research on behalf of the organisation and ran focus groups to understand what was required to help rebrand and relaunch the charity.’
The result was a modern customised illustration for the charity’s new brand logo, together with a brand new interactive website that includes motion graphics, to encourage donations, volunteers and raise brand awareness. She goes on ‘we are really delighted that our work has been recognised for a charity such as TRCC, as they need donations and volunteers on an ongoing basis. What I really hope is this raises more awareness and funds for them as their services are provided freely.’ TRCC manager Natasha O’Keefe says ‘we can’t thank this company enough, TRCC’s vision is a society where sexual violence is not tolerated. The new branding and specialised content has really helped us get a clear message out there. They’ve made it easier for survivors to reach us, easier for people to donate and volunteer, and most importantly they’ve made it easier to start the conversation amongst the general public.’
