‘Lime Challenge’ for Team up 4 Teeney fundraising campaign

What started as a simple idea by John Kelly a neighbour of Martina’s has quickly started to gain momentum. A ‘Lime Challenge’ to raise funds as part of the Team up 4 Teeney fundraising campaign. A go Fund Me campaign with a target of €50,000 has been set up for Martina Cahill who suffers from Lyme disease and requires treatment in Germany.

The Lime Challenge is the latest addition to the overall fundraiser and the rules are very simple:
1. Purchase Lime, chop/slice lime.
2. Eat/Chew the lime and try enjoy it.
3. Make a €5 donation to the ‘Team up 4 Teeney’ gofundme page (Link below)
4. Nominate 3-5 people and upload your video and picture of donation.
5. Tag, share and like the @teamup4teeney

So far the challenges have featured people from counties Laois, Kildare, Cork, Kilkenny, Dublin and Down and the list is growing. The challenges range from young to not as young and include couples, families and some very brave National schoolchildren from the local schools in Ratheniska, Stradbally and Timahoe.

We are asking for the public of Laois and surrounding counties once again to get on board and support this worthy cause with a simple fun Lockdown challenge

I’ll add some funny snapshots from the week.
