Light up this Suicide Prevention Week
World Suicide Prevention Week 2016 takes place between Monday, September 5th and Sunday, September 11th, with World Suicide Prevention Day on Saturday, 10th September,
#WSPD16
Cycle Against Suicide is actively supporting this week through its initiative Light Up Orange, #LightUpOrange
Last year there was a huge response with many of Ireland’s iconic buildings, landmarks, historic castles and homes turning their lights orange to raise awareness of the message “It’s OK not to feel OK; and it’s absolutely OK to ask for help”.

Local man Christy Bannon did trojan work behind the scenes for Cycle against Suicide. Let’s continue on this good work
Please feel free to contact me by return e-mail, or alternatively by phoning the number below if you can be a part of this years Light Up Orange.
Together, shoulder to shoulder, we can break the cycle of suicide on the island of Ireland.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Anne McGowan

To date we have had a great response, but our goal to Light Up Ireland needs support from your county. Maybe you could light one of your buildings up orange to create awareness of World Suicide Prevention Week, or even just light the building up at 8pm on Saturday, 10th September.
