Launch of ‘Reflect’ Exhibition

Reflect

Reflect is a group exhibition displaying the talents of the 2015 level 3 students from Portarlington Further Education Centre, who are progressing onto level 4.  Hosted by the Laois Arthouse, the exhibition will be officially launched by Muireann Ní Chonaill, Arts Officer, Laois County Council on Monday 21st Sept at 1.30pm. Curated by local artist and tutor Gareth Jenkins, the exhibition includes painting, drawing, print, collage and 3D work. Gareth has recently completed a three-month residency at the Laois Arthouse and he is represented by the Nag Gallery in Dublin.

There are several paintings on display ranging in art styles such as still life to abstract art.  Laois Arthouse Gallery is delighted to host this exhibition that will give the artist a wonderful opportunity to share their delight in art and for the audience to enjoy the artistic talents of this student body.
