Launch of “Laois Folktales”

The “Folktales” series by the History Press Ireland is an impressive collection of the folktales of many Irish counties. The series will be joined by a new addition in August, as “Laois Folktales” by Nuala Hayes is launched on 27th August 2015 at 7pm in the Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise. The book contains the folklore and stories of county Laois as researched by Nuala in collaboration with many residents of the county, and is beautifully illustrated by Rita Duffy.
