SANTA’S HELPERS
This is a local cause for people in towns and villages in the County Laois. Many in low paid incomes or where a life circumstance has radically changed income. Last year it was such a joy to see that assistance left the Committee and reached those who needed it.
Yes the children receive joy and happy memories. The family receive relief from another expense, or are able to concentrate on paying for something else to keep their home and their family moving forward. This is about mental health, community, coming together at a time which is joyful and helping each other.

We work with people with their finger on the pulse, people who know who might be receiving this or that and those who don’t. We look for those who don’t. Santa’s Helpers has got off to a good start with some larger off line donations which we are so grateful for. It takes a lot of money to get the job done.
Every year donations of €5, €10, €20, €50 by multiple people has gotten the job done. 500 × €20 donations would give €10,000 to Santa to distribute assistance via toys at Christmas. Also if you can help with fundraising let us know. https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/santashelpers2022
