Laois Offaly Fine Gael Elects a new Constituency Executive

A new executive was elected at the recent AGM for Laois Offaly Fine Gael. The officers for 2021/2022 are:
Chairperson: Vivienne Phelan
Vice-Chairperson: Jim Buckley
Secretary: Grace Clendennen
PRO: Maria Hewson
Joint Treasurers: Mary O’Donoghue & Noel Ryan
Disability/Equality Officer: Molly Buckley
Policy Officer: Kevin Wrafter
Membership Officer: George Vaugh
Youth Officer: Niamh Bakker

Gerry Shinners and John Martin have stepped down from the executive. The incoming executive would like to acknowledge their service and wish them well in their retirement.

The next constituency executive meeting is Thursday 3 June at 8pm on Zoom. Meeting details will be forwarded to members in advance of the meeting. Please contact laoisoffalysecretary@gmail.com if you have not received the Zoom code and would like to attend the meeting.

Membership Renewal 2021/2022

Members are reminded that the deadline for renewals for 2021/2022 is 30 June 2021. Members can renew online at www.finegael.ie or through their Branch Secretary. New members are always welcome.

2021 Ard Fheis

The first ever online Ard Fheis will take place from Tuesday June 15 to Saturday June 9. Further information will be circulated to members in due course.

New Fine Gael County Councillor

Congratulations to Cllr. PJ Kelly who was recently co-opted to Laois County Council replacing Tom Mulhall who retired earlier in the year.
