FREE 6 Week Swim Instructor & Lifeguard Course starting this month in Portlaoise. We only have a limited number of places.
 
Community Coaching Level 2 – FREE 6 Week Gym Instructor & Lifeguard Course
 
Laois Sports Partnership in association with Laois Leisure are enrolling participants for our Community Coaching Programme Level 2, commencing 12th of October 2021
 
This FREE programme is aimed at people who are currently unemployed or working part time and wish to obtain qualifications to seek work in the leisure industry. The course will run for 6 weeks in Portlaoise, with participants attending 3 days per week.
 
Training will include:

Swim Teaching Qualification

Lifeguarding

Manual Handling

 
Applicants must be aged 16 years or over, be able to tread water, swim 2 lengths of the pool and will need to complete a competency assessment.
