Latest Laois News: Four Laois groups get COVID-19 Stability Funding

Laois Organisations to benefit from COVID-19 Stability Fund

Sean Fleming T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Finance is very pleased that 4 Laois Community Organisations will receive funding through the COVID-19 Stability Fund. The fund focuses on organisations providing support and services to not-for-profit organisations in a broad range of sectors who have suffered financially as a result of the pandemic.

These support groups provide critical services within our community and this funding will assist in some part with the financial challenges they have faced as a result of Covid.

Portarlington Community Centre was one of the Laois recipients

“I am very happy to see the Government support these groups and I would like to thank each and everyone involved with these organisations for their work and the services they provide in our communities.”
