Case made for new school for Clonad area outside Portlaoise
Below is a copy of the letter sent to the LOETB and to local Elected Members and TD’s outlining the case made by Clonad Community & Development Association (CCDA). In it they outline what they deem a pressing need for a new school in their community and then list the numerous benefits, in their view, it would bring. They have identified what they consider is the overcrowding and compromised learning environments in existing schools in the area. The CCDA then emphasised the urgent need for improved facilities and resources for students in their catchment area..
The CCDA believes a new school will provide their children with a safe, inclusive, and modern learning environment, setting the stage for their future success.
